Fateh e Azam Salahuddin Ayubi by Khan Asif Pdf Free Download
Sultan Salah ud Din Ayubi authored by Khan Asif. The book under review is a historical novel written by Khan Asif about the life of Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi, in which the childhood, struggles, and victories of this great Mujahid are beautifully shown in a story manner in the Urdu language.
The Crusades began at the end of the eleventh century (1091) and continued until the end of the thirteenth century (1091 to 1291). All the Christian rulers of Germany, France, Britain, and Europe took part in these battles for over two decades. Mujahideen fought these crusaders like Emaduddin Zangi, ruler of Mosul, Sultan Nooruddin Zangi, and Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi. After the Ayubi dynasty, the Mamluks (Turks) continued to fight the Crusaders. In all, there were seven major crusades.
Salahuddin belonged to the Kurdish nation. He was born on September 19, 1138, in Tikrit. He was named Yousuf. Salahuddin received training under Sultan Nooruddin Zangi. When Salahuddin drove the Crusaders out of Egypt in 1160 (555 AH), Caliph Al-Adid-ud-Din Allah gave Yusuf the name of Malik Al-Nasir Salahuddin Ayubi. Salahuddin Ayubi was 22 years old at the time.
Salahuddin Ayubi, like Sultan Nooruddin Zangi, also loved Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a city of special significance to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The Jews consider it so sacred that Prophet Solomon built the magnificent temple (Haikal e Sulemani). Christians consider it important that Jesus continued his teaching and preaching here. This city is sacred to Muslims because it is where the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. started his journey of Miraj (Ascension).
The second caliph, Amir al-Mu’minin Hazrat Umar, conquered Jerusalem in 638. As a result of this victory, Muslims and Christians began to live here peacefully. Jews, Christians, and Muslims from other parts of the world used to come here for pilgrimage. Then, in 1099, the Christian army captured Jerusalem, and the people there were brutally massacred.
When Salahuddin Ayubi raised his sword for the liberation of Jerusalem, the whole Christian world lined up against Salahuddin Ayubi. The Crusaders numbered more than one million, while Salahuddin Ayubi’s army consisted of 40,000 soldiers. The Crusaders had the latest weapons, and the believers had only naked swords and unshakable belief in the existence of Allah. These were the weapons by which Salahuddin Ayubi achieved the great victory in the Third Crusade (1187), the burning of which still burns the hearts of the Christian world. The Christian world has started crusades again to heal the wounds. Afghanistan and Iraq are recent examples. Once again, a Mujahid of Islam, like the great conqueror Salahuddin Ayubi, is needed to deal with these crusades.
This book reflects the golden history of Muslims and the fearless leaders of Islam who never strayed from their path. This book, which revolves around the three crusades, tells us about the events that made Yusuf Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi. Khan Asif has written the details of the battles very carefully. The story’s narrative is very beautiful, in which the humor of the Mujahideen is also shown.
