Kaleesa Aur Aag Novel authored by Naseem Hijazi. Kaleesa Aur Aag’s novel is the last chapter in the tragic story of a nation that, after nearly eight centuries of ups and downs, perished from the land where, even today, tourists from all over the world come to see its immortal monuments of greatness. The Muslims of Andalusia had a glorious empire for about four hundred years. They then fell victim to chaos, lawlessness, and decentralization, and the Christians took advantage of their chaos to set foot in Spain.

Kaleesa Aur Aag’s novel tells the heartbreaking story of the persecution of Muslims in Spain after the imposition of the Inquisition (Ecclesiastical system of inquiry in medieval) by the Christian clergy in the Middle Ages. Through this law, Christians forced Muslims to abandon their religion and follow Christianity. The clergy would throw holy water on Muslims and force them to convert to Christianity. When Muslims refused, they were locked up in prisons, tortured, and then burned alive. The Christian rulers and clergy broke the treaty with the Muslims and forced them to leave Spain. The novel also tells the heart-wrenching story of a Muslim couple who migrated to Africa and settled in Marrakesh because of the terror of the Christian rulers.

Naseem Hijazi has written this book in the context of the decline of Muslims in Spain. This is a great book on the Holocaust of Moore, Spain. It describes how the Muslims were humiliated and expelled from Spain after the surrender of Abu Abdullah, the last Sultan of Granada, and the Christian rulers crushed the Muslims under the Inquisition Act. Furthermore, Christians forced Muslims to leave Spain or live as slaves. Most Muslim families migrated to Morocco and settled there.

In my youth, Naseem Hijazi was a very popular author of historical novels in Urdu. His books followed a particular genre, in which there is always an innocent Muslim hero who fights either traitors on the inside or enemies on the outside, such as the Mongols or the Crusaders. His novels are very long, with many references to war and never-ending military campaigns.

Master of Historical fiction Naseem Hijazi has written more than 16 masterpieces. Beginning with the novel ‘Khaak aur Khun‘ written against the backdrop of British rule, Partition of India, and Tehreek-e-Pakistan, he set a record by writing masterpiece classic novels like Yousuf Bin Tashfeen, Akhri Chattan, Akhri Marka, Andheri Raat Ke Musafir, Kaleesa Aur Aag, Muazzam Ali, Aur Talwar Toot Gai, Dastan e Mujahid, Insan Aur Devta, Muhammad Bin Qasim, Pardesi Darakht, Gumshuda Qafle, Qafla e Hijaz, Qaisar o Kisra and Shaheen.
