Maulana Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri was born on June 6, 1943, in Hussainabad village, one mile from Mubarakpur in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. He received his early education from his grandfather and uncle. In the beginning, he studied Arabic and Persian languages from Madrasah “Dar-ul-Teleem”. After that, in 1954, he entered Madrasa Ahya Uloom Mubarakpur. And completed religious education from there.
