Thank you for providing downloadable PDF books with good quality.
    Please note the following:
    1) The name of this book was Hayat-i Afghan (not Hayat-i Afghani). There is no –i of ezafat in it. 2) The author, Mohammad Hayat Khan, was not a Pashtun. He belonged to the Gakkhar tribe (گاکھر) of the Panjab. 3) The original book was written in Farsi (Persian), not in Pashto. 4) Henry Priestley translated it from Persian into English under the title of Afghanistan and Its Inhabitants, which was published in Lahore (1874). This book was more or less similar in regard to its content with:
    A) Tarikh-i Peshawar (in Urdu) by Ray Bahadur Munshi Gopal Das (1874).
    B) Tawarikh-i Khurshid-i Jahan by Shir Mohammad pf Gundapur. He accused Mohammad Hayat Khan for plagiarism.
