Mansha Yaad has passes away in the age of 72 years. He was taken to Islamic International Hospital after his complained of chest pain, however he died of heart attack. He is survived by 4 children and a widow. May Allah Ta’ala shower his mercy and blessing  upon him. Ameen.
Mansha Yaad could be a terribly famous and outstanding Urdu plays and short story author and an excellent figure of Urdu belles letters . He has been awarded Pride of performance Award from the Pakistan government. He has won several different awards from several organizations across the world.
After serving in PWD,he joined Federal Capital Commission that was later converted into Capital Development Authority, Islamabad (CDA) in May1960. As he had literary style from the childhood he started writing stories & poems for youngsters magazines when he was student of seventh category. He passed examinations of Fazil e Urdu in 1964, BA in 1965, M.A (Urdu) in 1967 and M.A (Punjabi) in 1972 from University of the Punjab as external student.
Mansha Yad was born in an exceedingly village Thatta Nustar close to Farooqabad, District Sheikhupura, Pakistan on 05/07/1937.His father Haji Nazir Ahmed was a Farmer and also a best Hakim. He passed his Matric examination in 1955 from High School in Hafizabad with the subjects of Drawing & Science and obtaining 1st division & got Diploma in Civil Engineering 1957 and join PWD Rehabilitation Department in Rawalpindi and Murree for two year as a Sub Engineer.

When he was completed he service in the Capital Development Authority as Sub Engineer, Assistant Engineer ,Executive Engineer, Public Relations Officer& Chief Complaints officer and retired as Deputy Director in 1997.
He was married in Lahore to his cousin Farhat Nasim Akhtar in 1960. He has one daughter and 3 sons. His eldest son Farrukh jamil is Vice Principal at Army Public faculty & school Rawalpindi and daughter Noma Shabnam has additionally teaching in an exceedingly Model school for women at Islamabad. His son Dr. Amer Shakil could be a Professor of medicines at The Texas University of Dallas United State. The youngest son Kashif Naveed is Assistant Manager in an exceedingly National Newspaper/ TV Channel in Islamabad.
Mansha Yad founded Halqa Arbab e Zauq Islamabad, the primary distinguished literary organization within the Capital town in 1972. He additionally founded another literary organizations like, Rabta, Bazame Kitab & Fiction Forums at Islamabad enriching the newly designed town literately & culturally. This post is a tribute to this great Urdu writer.
